All sorts of people make great Foster Carers.

They are tradesmen, nurses, sales reps, shop assistants, teachers etc.  They are couples, singles, from different cultural backgrounds, with or without their own children. They are people who have the desire to give a child a safe and welcoming place to stay.

Our next information session is on Tuesday 16^th April @ 6.30pm to 7.30pm in the Yarraville area. Come along to find out more & have your questions answered. Ask us to come and speak at your school. Cherry Lake Lions Club Market

1st Sunday of each month, from 8am to 2pm. The next market is on 5 August.

Lions Club of Altona Cherry Lake Sunday Market is an outdoor market with 80 stalls in the spacious park next to Cherry Lake.
Whilst shopping you can also munch on a sausage, hot dog or have a hot or cold drink. 

Come and support the great work that the Lions Club does in our community by coming to the scenic Cherry Lakes to grab a bargain. There is something for everyone. Stalls include hand-knitted goods, handmade candles, plants (including orchids and ferns), fruits and vegetables, flowers, clothing, souvenirs, confectionery, preserves, handmade wooden toys and furniture, sports gear and garden tools as well as secondhand treasures of all sorts.

Melbourne’s only weekly street market, Tuesday's between 9am and 3pm.
It features fresh food stalls and local arts and crafts.
The market is extremely popular with the local residents and has attracted a big following from all over Melbourne. Come along and pick up a bargain or just relax in the great cafes along Pier Street or spend some time looking at the Altona Mural which captures the essence of this beautiful sea side Village just minutes from the City.
