APS Art Show 2017

‘Colourful, exciting, fantastic’ were all adjectives used by children to describe our recent Art Show. What a success it was! It was delightful to see so many families, including a substantial number of grandparents, finding time to experience our gallery with their children. The faces when sticking on their sold stickers were priceless. The Saturday opening was again a popular time with over 300 visitors in just 2 hours.

This was the school major fundraiser for the year with all profits going towards the fabulous new outside space so recently completed.

Sold art work has been sent to classrooms for collection. If you were unable to attend the art show, your child’s work is available from the art room – after payment at the office. Any person who placed an expression of interest for work not belonging to their child will be contacted in week 9 (11th September onwards) if work is still available.

Thank you all for helping make this the massive success it was.

Preps and Paint = Profound Possibilities…

It has been my pleasure to introduce another cohort of bubbly preps to the magic of creating masterpieces in our art room this term. We have had fun exploring self-portraits and trialling materials such as pastels and paints. Welcome to all our new families, we hope you enjoy viewing and discussing your child’s artwork this year. See more
